CSS Web Mastery
This book is at the top of the list for good reason. It never leaves my desk.
The first two chapters are great reviews of CSS. After that it's on to styling lists, links, forms, data tables and of course CSS layout. A few good case studies too.
If you're going to buy just one CSS book get this one!!
Pro CSS Techniques
This book is excellent for intermediate CSSers. It offers good information on workarounds and hacks. The best part of the book is the chapter on browsers. If you don't know much about the evolution of browsers, CSS is going to be impossible to work with. That chapter is a must read!!
CSS in 10 Minutes
I remember when they used to give you 24 hours to learn something, but no more. Still, I love this book.
If you are familiar with CSS, it's a good buy. Not for a beginner.
Eric Meyer On CSS
In this book each chapter is a project that gets you working with CSS. Learn how to transform a bad, old page into a good, new one and much more.
Lots of support files to download and work with.
Cascading Style Sheets: Designing for the Web
If you really want to learn Cascading Style Sheets, go to the masters - Hakon Wium Lie and Bert Bos. Why? Who better to know about CSS than the guys who developed the specs?
I could not have made my web design training Workshop - or any project I've ever worked on - without this book!!
Transcending CSS
Author Andy Clarke knows that XHTML and CSS is not just about code. It's about the way to develop visually rich and pleasing design.
This book uses a visual approach to help you learn coding techniques.
