I agree, of course, with the importance of good content and writing, but if your page is poorly designed....let's say, as an example, your background is an eye-searing hot pink....no one is going to stay on your page long enough to read the content. Conversely, a well-designed page will catch the eye of someone passing bye who might not have stopped to look at your content. Both are important, and not mutually exclusive. I don’t know.
